I visited a handful of bridal shops in my search for a dress, but Magnolia Bride was by far the best experience I could have asked for! Lawton was quick to welcome my mom and me into the shop on short notice, and made me feel so welcomed! She listened to my wedding plans and vision for the day was quick to make suggestions and take my opinions into account, and ended up helping me find the most beautiful dress (that she designed herself)! She was also incredibly patient as I went back and forth between my final two, and made the entire experience so joyful and relaxing. The shop is beautiful, and offers a huge variety of styles to try, in a variety of price ranges. I truly couldn’t recommend them more, for an amazing, unique bridal gown shopping experience!

I can’t say enough about how great my experience was with Lawton and Magnolia Bride. My mom and I went looking for my dream dress, and Lawton was so warm and welcoming and also so helpful. I LOVE that she designs her own dresses but also offers a wide variety of sample sale dresses — I am so thrilled that I chose one of her own dresses … no one else will have it! I actually picked a dress that I hadn’t seen on the rack and Lawton pulled it for me to try — she really listened to what I was looking for and picked a winner! Magnolia Bride is the most charming bridal store in Charleston. After traveling around town with my niece to find the perfect dress, we stumbled upon this gem in the heart of historic Charleston. The owner, Lawton, made my niece feel like a princess and we were able to take her beautiful dress right out with us the same day! This is a lovely boutique and I highly recommend it!

This is the GO-TO spot to find your dress!! Awesome unique stock of dresses and a stylist that makes you feel ultra-comfortable. The quality of the dresses is top-notch, and we’ve seen A LOT of dresses at this point. Her private label is so beautiful, differentiated, and fabulous. I cannot get over how amazing this place is, it really knocked our socks off.

Visited Magnolia Bride several weeks ago with a bride to be (I am in the wedding party). Both Emily & Lawton were accommodating, professional and friendly. The bride was overwhelmed by the dress shopping process; they immediately put her at ease AND made the experience fun! The selection is top tier and inclusive of many price points. The space itself is insta perfect. I cannot recommend this shop enough!

Magnolia Bride of Charleston was the bridal salon of my dreams. The service, knowledge, atmosphere, gowns, and prices are unmatched. I booked my appointment on a whim on a girl’s trip to Charleston and had no intention of falling in love with a dress. When I began looking through the dresses, I quickly realized I wasn’t leaving without one. I loved the undivided attention I had and that I was the only bride in the salon. I ended up leaving with a dress designed by Lawton (the dresses she designed were my favorites!) and it’s everything I wanted and more. It was such a cool experience to get to meet the designer of my dress and to know that it is one-of-a-kind. I’m so excited for my dress to make its debut in June. I cannot recommend Magnolia and Lawton enough! Thank you so much, Lawton!

Magnolia Bride of Charleston was an absolute dream experience! I was surprising my best friend & taking her dress shopping. The store owner Lawton was wonderful on the phone & texting in advance to confirm details. When we arrived at the store & Emily let us upstairs to the shop ~ it was like stepping into a fairytale ~ an out-of-the-movies experience! The dress selection was impeccable, with amazing price points! Each dress was so special & unique! Emily could not have been kinder & more attentive. She was so knowledgeable & wonderful! I absolutely loved how there were the perfect amount of dresses to select from ~ each carefully curated & intentionally placed. Not an overwhelming amount that could be laborious to look through. I can’t wait to see which dress my friend chooses because each & every one is incredible! If you are dress shopping in Charleston ~ this is the place!

I cannot recommend Magnolia enough! Owner, Lawton, helped me find the perfect dress for the big day and she was incredible. Her salon is gorgeous, to start with, and my mom, sister, and I felt like we got VIP treatment every step of the way. She knew what I wanted even better than I did myself and had me try some options that weren’t what I originally thought I wanted, one of which ended up being the dress I chose! She also had the most beautiful veil in stock that she recommended to complete the look and the pictures came out INCREDIBLE. I wish Lawton did more than wedding dresses so I had an excuse to shop from her again! I should also mention that we planned a wedding in 4 months and so being able to get a dress that was in immaculate condition off the rack was a life saver! My (now) husband absolutely loved the dress on our big day and Lawton even recommended a great local seamstress for alterations who made the dress fit like a glove. I can’t thank you enough!

I didn’t find my dress here, but Emily was amazing. I have tried on dresses at a few other bridal boutiques and usually feel overwhelmed and like I’m trying on costumes. Emily took her time to get to know me and my style and looked through my Pinterest boards for both my dress ideas and the wedding vibes before she pulled any gowns for me. I can’t recommend this place enough! Plus, the designs are all local. Huge win!

I am SO happy that Magnolia was my first stop when I went wedding dress shopping!! Lawton was so sweet and welcoming. The location is beautifully decorated and set up perfectly for a big reveal each time you try on a dress. Once I picked my dress and veil, Lawton did such a great job measuring me that I almost didn’t need any alterations. The dress is GORGEOUS… I fell in love with the lace, the low back, and the buttons. As soon as I put it on, I knew it was the one…. and bonus it was incredibly comfortable. I put it on around 3 pm for pictures and didn’t take it off until after midnight. Thank you, Lawton and Magnolia Bride, for the PERFECT wedding dress!

Words can’t describe what an amazing time I had trying on dresses at Magnolia Bride. Emily was very personable and helpful between finding a style and her own personal advice. The selection was so on point and each dress was so unique. I can’t wait to return to choose my dress! This is a 10/10 and I highly recommend Emily.
